Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-04-21

This Cookie Policy explains how The Body School Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies on global.thebody.school. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to remember information about you between visits. We also use similar technologies (local storage, pixels) which we treat the same way as cookies for the purpose of this policy.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

These are essential for the Site to work. They cannot be turned off in our consent banner.

  • Cookie consent record — stores your choice from the consent banner so we don't ask you again on every page (stored in your browser's local storage as tbs-cookie-consent).
  • Hosting and security — Vercel may set short-lived cookies to balance traffic, prevent abuse, and maintain session integrity.

Analytics (off by default — requires consent)

Help us understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck, so we can improve the Site. They do not personally identify you. Currently we use:

  • Vercel Analytics— aggregated page-view counts, top pages, referrer source, country, and device type. Vercel's analytics is cookie-less by default and collects only anonymised data. See Vercel's privacy policy.
  • Vercel Speed Insights — Core Web Vitals (loading, interactivity, layout stability) sampled from real visits. Anonymous, no cookies.

Both are loaded only after you accept analytics in the consent banner.

Marketing (off by default — requires consent)

We do not currently set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we ever do, this policy will be updated and the consent banner will give you a separate choice for them.

Third-party services we link to

Some pages link to or embed third-party services that may set their own cookies once you interact with them. These are governed by the third party's policy:

  • Calendly — when you click a “Book a free call” link, Calendly sets cookies on its own page. See Calendly's cookie notice.
  • YouTube / Instagram — if a future page embeds video or social media content, those embeds may set cookies.

3. Your choices

Through our cookie banner

The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics or non-essential cookies. You can:

  • Accept all — allow analytics and other non-essential cookies (when added).
  • Reject non-essential — only strictly necessary cookies will run.

Change your mind later

You can clear your choice and see the banner again by deleting the tbs-cookie-consent entry in your browser's site data, or by clearing all cookies for this Site.

Through your browser

All major browsers let you block or delete cookies, and most let you do this on a per-site basis. See:

Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Site.

4. Updates

We may update this policy when we add or remove cookie-using features. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest revision. If a change is significant, we will surface the banner again so you can re-confirm your choice.
